I tutor at the London College of Garden Design and also teach students privately. As well as teaching 3D modelling and design on SketchUp and 2D technical, layout and planting plans on Vectorworks, I also offer help with programs such as Microsoft Powerpoint and Photoshop, to ensure my clients are able to use all the software at their disposal to its fullest extent.
For those who are already comfortable with computers, I can teach advanced techniques to really bring graphics and 2D plans and details to life, and give pointers on how to improve your visual communication across all aspects of your business. However, much of my work is with people who are just starting to make the transition from paper-based drawings to computer-based ones, and it is this area which is really my speciality.
My aim is to make you feel comfortable with using your computer and the software on it – to feel relaxed and capable of achieving your goals and confident that you can deliver high-quality work to your clients.
I am patient and give clear instructions, making sure that you feel happy with every step of the process, and then work with you whilst you undertake tasks under your own steam, giving guidance when needed.
My aim is to start a session with goals to achieve, whether they are to learn how to set up a basic Powerpoint presentation, how to do planting plans in Vectorworks or how to post-process your SketchUp drawings in Photoshop, and to end the session with those being fulfilled and you feeling confident to repeat the process in my absence.
As part of this service I am always available by email or phone to help you in any moments of dispair – I know what it’s like to have a deadline looming and not be able to get your computer to do what you want it to!
To explore your needs and have a no-obligation chat about how I can help you, just drop me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org or give me a call on 07870 663102.
